CAM RPC was founded in 1932 as Radio Parts Company, a supplier of television and radio parts to hobbyists, consumers, and local businesses throughout the Pittsburgh area. In 1974, Radio Parts merged with Cameradio to form CAM RPC Electronics and later merged with RM Electronics in 1995 to further expand our reach into Michigan, New York, Ohio, and West Virginia.
Since the consolidation that affected the consumer electronics industry in the 1980s, CAM RPC has continously redefined itself as a trusted supplier of components and assemblies focusing on the transportation, medical device, defense, and industrial safety industries.
As we approach 100 years in continuous operation, our strategy of providing local service, maintaining flexibility to meet customer needs, and delivering high quality products allows CAM RPC to grow in an industry that continues to experience massive consolidation.
